Add some spark and interest into pack lunches this term, check out some ideas below.

Try some small soft bread rolls from Berrymans bakery or sliced bread for sandwiches. For simple, and quick fillings, try:

o John West Tuna or Fish 4 Eva Tuna (tuna/cucumber, tuna salad)

Or how about:

• Homemade Humous from The Courtyard Deli + breadsticks (the Courtyard deli have a new wonderful Italian fat breadsticks called Rustic Grissini) or pitta + crudités (try some carrots, pepper, tomato, celery, cucumber, mushrooms)

• Quiche, omelette or frittata made from Cornish eggs from St Ewe

Pasta salad, potato salad

• Try making your own savoury muffins, or for something that kids will love - marmite and cheese scones or even sweet but fruity muffins – great with a bit of cheese and fruit

• Tricolore salad – mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes and black olives & bread or pitta

• Leftover chicken drumsticks or cold sausages from The Kernow Sausage Company

• Cous cous flavoured with lemon or with peices of chicken

• Lunchbox ploughman’s – cheese with grapes and crudités + crusty bread and butter from Trewithen Dairy

- Perfect Kid-size pots of yoghurt from Elm Farm

- Biscuits from Furniss biscuits and the odd small chocolate treat

• Try some Melon (cut up and in a container), apples, easy-peel oranges, grapes, pears, berries (in a container), mango or pineapple (cut up and in a container)
