Finest Pork Sausages 454g
Granny Smith Apples x 6
Conference Pears 1kg
Extra Large Oranges x 5
If you wonder how we do it it's actually pretty simple - the supermarkets have a few products that they sell very cheaply - the headline grabbers like bananas and white bread - to be fair we struggle to compete with them on those products (but our Berryman's bakery bread is a far superior product!) On the rest we can compete and more often than not beat them on price and quality. For example, our topside of beef is over £2 per kilo cheaper than Tesco's and ours comes from Cornish beef, hand-picked by butcher Robert Trevarthen and hung properly for twenty-one days to let the full flavour develop. Try finding out how long you supermarket beef has been hung or where it really comes from - you may be surprised. Similarly on eggs - we have free range eggs from St Ewe at £1.39 for six medium, Tesco and Asda equivalents are £1.48 and Sainsbury's are £1.58 - we pay St Ewe a great price and eggs produced locally are sold locally.
This price comparison is on products only and excludes any delivery charges that the supermarkets may apply - delivery charges may also apply to your cornishfoodmarket.co.uk order depending on your location.
