New in from the Courtyard Deli in Falmouth, we bring you three delicious cheeses to help you celebrate St Patrick's day on Saturday 17th of March.
BOILIE (Gold Medal Winner World Cheese Awards)

From Irelands Five Mile Town Creamery, a small farming co-operative established in 1898. Boilie Goat Cheese Pearls are hand-made using pasteurised goat’s milk from herds that roam the lush green pastures of Northern Irelands Clogher Valley. The cheese is marinated in garlic infused oil with herbs & peppercorns.
These deliciously soft little gems are perfect for salads, snacks and picnics & the oil makes a beautiful dressing or marinade!
CASHEL BLUE (Gold Medal Winner World Cheese)

Irelands’ original farmhouse blue cheese was developed in 1984 by husband & wife team, Louis and Jane Grubb on their farm at Beechmount in Co. Tipperary. Pasteurised cow’s milk from their pedigree herd of Friesian cows is used to make the cheese. At about six weeks of age the texture is firm and crumbly with a tangy flavour; from six to twelve weeks, the cheese develops a delicious fuller flavour.
ARDRAHAN (Gold Medal Winner World Cheese)

Ardrahan cheese is a semi-soft washed rind cows milk cheese, hand made on farm by Mary Burns and her son Gerald in Kanturk, County Cork. The cheese is made using vegetarian rennet and pasteurised whole milk from the Burns family herd of Pedigree Friesian dairy cows. The herd is left to graze the lush green grass surrounding the farm which lies in the heart of the great Munster pastures. Ardrahan is a deliciously moist cheese with a savoury, buttery flavour and a fruity finish.
Enjoy! Wash back with a Guiness and toast the Irish...
