Crazy in love with Blueberries

Here we are – yet another year has passed and here at cornishfoodmarket.co.uk HQ we are positively trying to kick start a ‘healthy’ new year.  With all best intentions to become healthier or ‘loose’ that extra Christmas tummy wobble, its easy to fall off the wagon.

I can’t promise miracles but I can start with pointing you in the right direction with more realistic goals. If you can’t keep all your New Years resolutions, then just try one thing, preparing your meals from scratch is essentially healthier for you: leaving by the wayside preservatives and added salts and sugars we just don’t need, plus its far more creative and rewarding!

At the moment I’m crazy about Blueberries, very healthy, full of antioxidants and yummy. My quick and easy fix would be to pop them into a detox milkshake. By adding just milk, yogurt and any other favorite flavors – anything goes, and hey presto! you have a great healthy milkshake for breakfast. This will provide you with slow releasing energy till your next meal. My quick tip – add a couple of teaspoons of healthy oats for additional body and flavour.
