Sausage Roll Twists
Method
Makes about 2 dozen twists.
1. Preheat oven to Gas Mark 7, 220C, 425F.
2. Cut the puff pastry into 2.5 cm (1") strips.
3. Pllace a dollop of red currant jelly and a sausage on each strip of pastry and wind up in a twist.
4. Brush with egg and milk beaten together and place on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden.
Ingredients
24 cocktail sausages or 12 chippolatas, each cut in half
1 packet ready-rolled puff pastry
Red currant jelly
Egg, beaten
Milk
