No-Alcohol Holiday Punch
Method
Makes about 10 servings. Best made in advance
1. In a large saucepan combine the apple cider, nectar, lemon juice and
honey.
2. For the spice bag tie the cloves, allspice and cinnamon sticks in a piece of muslin and add the bag to the juice mixture.
3. Bring the mixture to boiling then reduce the heat. Simmer, covered, for a further 10 minutes. Discard the spice bag.
4. Allow the mixture to cool, then cover and chill for several hours or
overnight.
5. Serve chilled. Garnish with a fresh strawberry if desired.
Ingredients
32 fluid oz / 960ml pressed apple juice
32 fluid oz / 960ml apricot or peach nectar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
2 sticks of cinnamon
Fresh strawberries (optional)
