A Very Berry Smoothie

Method

Serves 4. Try using whatever soft berries that are in season.

1. Place the berries, banana, yoghurt, milk and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Put the crushed ice into 4 tall glasses, pour the smoothie over the ice and serve immediately.

For a sweeter smoothie, add a little icing sugar.

Ingredients

450g/1lb ripe soft berries, washed
1 banana
450ml/15 fluid oz low fat natural yoghurt
150ml / 5 fluid oz milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6-8 ice cubes, crushed
