What is RBS WorldPay and FuturePay?
We have chosen RBS WorldPay as our payment partner for several reasons, the main two being:

  • RBS WorldPay is a global leader in secure online payment systems, processing on average over 12 million transactions every day
  • With a FuturePay agreement you only need to enter your card details once. No money is taken from your card until your first order is dispatched. Thereafter the cost of each order will automatically be taken from your card at the time of dispatch.

How to get ready to shop

  • Click on ‘Start shopping’ tab
  • Click ‘Create new order’ on the right of your screen
  • Click ‘Book a delivery slot’ on the right of your screen
  • Click on one of the green highlighted time slots and click ‘Book delivery slot’ at the bottom of the delivery slot screen

Select your shopping

  • Click on one of the categories in the menu to the left of the screen and click through the second and third menus until you find the list of products you need OR type what you are looking for into the ‘Looking for something?’ box in the top right of the screen and click on the magnifying glass to bring up a list of products that match your search
  • Scroll down the list of products until you find exactly what you want
  • Enter the amount you want (by weight or by item) in the box and click ‘Add’. That item is now in your basket – which is shown to the right of the screen
  • Once you have added all your products, you MUST click ‘Confirm this order’ at the bottom of your basket to place the order

Cut-off point for orders
You MUST confirm your order and any changes to it before the cut-off point for the delivery slot you have chosen:

  • The cut-off point is shown at the bottom of the basket - this is the latest point at which you can add to or amend a delivery
  • Certain items like meat, fish, bread that are prepared to order might affect the cut-off point as they need to be ordered in advance

Order by weight or item
In many cases, you can buy a product either by weight or by number of items – e.g. 6 carrots or 1 kilo of carrots.

  • Click the spot next to either the item price or the kilo price
  • Enter the number of items or kilos you wish to purchase in the box
  • If you want to order fractions of a kilo of a product enter, for example, 0.25 or 1.7 in the box once you have selected ‘kilos’

Is your order saved?
As soon as an item is added to your basket, it is saved there as if you have physically placed an item in a real basket. Whether or not you have confirmed your order, whatever happens - if your battery runs out, if your internet connection fails, or if lightning strikes, your basket will still be sitting there when you next go back to the site, for you to continue shopping. Simply click on the ‘Start Shopping’ tab and you will see your basket on the right of your screen. You are advised, however, to ‘confirm’ your order each time you open and edit it.

Making changes to your order
You can make changes to your confirmed order as often as you like, or indeed cancel the whole order, up to the cut-off point for that order. To do so:

  • Click on the ‘My account’ tab
  • Click on ‘Order information’ to the right of the screen
  • Click on ‘Edit’ next to the order you want to make changes to
  • Make your changes – you can increase/decrease quantities or delete items in your basket to the right of the screen, just add more items in the usual way
  • You MUST click on ‘confirm changes’ at the bottom of your basket to register the changes. This must be before the cut-off point for the order.
